How might we showcase ethically sourced coffee without a salesperson?

Devoción Retail Shelf Redesign is a strategic in-store solution aimed at helping Devoción Café communicate the quality, ethics, and origin of their coffee beans more effectively. By redesigning the merchandise shelf and integrating storytelling elements, the concept encourages customer interaction, builds transparency, and ultimately drives retail sales. The display educates shoppers on sourcing

practices, flavor profiles, and sustainability—helping Devoción stand out in a competitive retail space.


In this project, my goal was to create a retail experience that elevates the brand's values and builds trust with customers. Through visual storytelling, material selection, and interaction design, I developed a shelf system that invites curiosity and reinforces Devoción’s commitment to ethical sourcing. While the final design delivered clarity and impact, I saw opportunities to further test layout variations and measure shopper engagement in real-world settings. Overall, the project blended narrative and design to solve a real business challenge with empathy and intention.
