Service Description

This course is designed for students who are interested in pursuing a degree in industrial design and want to build a strong portfolio to apply for admission. Throughout the course, students will learn how to showcase their design skills and create a compelling portfolio that demonstrates their creativity, problem-solving abilities, and technical skills. Class 1: Introduction - Course overview and objectives - Understanding School Requirements and Guidelines - Reviewing school application requirements - Understanding portfolio guidelines Course 2: Layout - Choosing the right format and layout for the portfolio - Selecting and organizing the most relevant projects and designs - Highlighting your design process and problem-solving abilities - Exploring various mediums for presenting your work Class 3: Storytelling and Narrative Development - Developing a narrative to tie the portfolio together - Telling a compelling story to capture the attention of the target audience - Developing a personal brand and incorporating it into the portfolio Class 4: Presentation and Delivery - Preparing for interviews and presentations - Highlighting your portfolio in online platforms - Polishing your portfolio and seeking feedback No prior experience with is required. Students should have at least 3-5 projects to apply the concepts learned in the course. The course is designed to be completed in 8 hours. The course will run with a minimum of three students and a maximum of eight students. If the minimum number is not met, the course will be rescheduled.
