Form and Space
Fortunate to belong to a 50-year-old legacy of philosophical understanding of form and space, Alvaro teaches Industrial Design students at Pratt Institute the elements of design. This course focuses on creating an intuitive understanding of our physical surroundings, from color, form, spatial relationships, movement, scale, and negative space. Through numerous exercises, the course teaches students to train their eyes and hands to orchestrate exceptional visual relationships in products. Alvaro has taught numerous of these exercises since 2012.
