Product Development

This collection showcases student projects from two of Alvaro’s studio courses: Kitchen Tools at Pratt Institute and Human Factors at Parsons School of Design. These classes explore how design can enhance everyday experiences through ergonomics, user insight, and brand strategy. Students are challenged to rethink common kitchen and household tools—balancing aesthetics, comfort, and functionality—while considering real-world constraints like manufacturing, materials, and distribution. The work reflects a blend of thoughtful research, human-centered design, and fresh interpretations of objects we often take for granted.
